Festival Rules & Important Info Regarding Entry and Access to the Club Grounds:

Just a little reminder of some important rules to follow on festival days also requirements regarding entry below (number 2), to make sure everyone is safe and enjoys the event. As always keep an eye on our Facebook page and here on our website for updates.

Hi all. So almost here WENDYFEST 4 🎊🎉 Thank you to all the WENDYFEST team and staff for all their hard work getting things ready. We have a great lineup again so hopefully you can all experience a fantastic event! As always, a few important club rules for the day to remember, so that we all enjoy the event and everyone is safe.

  1. Main gate will be open at 1pm - for festival goers NO EARLIER.
  2. The inside bar will be open at 12pm as usual as this is a Sunday for CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.
  3. Only people with a festival ticket or a green membership card will be allowed through the main gate. No ticket, or no green membership card then simply no entry. There will be stewards and security at the main gate who will ask you for these on arrival. You will not be able to buy a festival ticket on the gate for this festival.
  4. On arrival you will show either festival ticket and/or green membership card to gain entry to the site.
  5. All club members will show their green membership card at the gate where they will be given a wristband which says Club Member. Please remember your club membership card on the day.
  6. Those with a festival ticket will proceed to gate on festival field where they will show their tickets in exchange for a wristband for the festival.
  7. Club members who are not going to the festival will just proceed into the clubhouse. Strictly no non-members inside the club on the day.
  8. Most Important - NO alcoholic drinks, food, or soft drinks allowed to be brought into the event.
  9. All bags and camping chairs in covers will be checked by security at the gate. Anyone found with alcohol, food, or soft drinks will be asked to leave them at the gate to be collected on leaving at the end of the event.
  10. Please do not insult us by bringing your own food and alcohol and soft drinks in. We do pride ourselves on keeping the prices reasonable for both food and drinks.
  11. Any children attending the event must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Due to our licensing conditions all children must be off the premises by 10.30pm.
  12. First aiders are on site for the day.
  13. Parking is restricted on the day. We do have some designated parking spaces which are for staff/bands/sound and lighting crews. These will be cordoned off on the day. Any vehicles left on the car park are left at owners risk. Donnington Wood Bowling Club takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to any vehicle left on the car park.
  14. Please be respectful to all WENDYFEST staff and committee. They have worked extremely hard over the past few months to be ready for the season. They are there to serve you but we have a zero tolerance to any abuse, so please respect this.
  15. The club has an absolute zero tolerance to any drugs being used or brought onto site. Anyone found to be abusing this will be escorted off the premises and police informed.

Thank You for an Amazing Wendyfest 2025!

Well that’s a wrap!! WENDYFEST 2025 is completed. I think it’s safe to say it was a fantastic season enjoyed by all who attended. From the very first festival to the last we tried to make sure you all experienced the very best time. Huge line ups along the way. Some fantastic bands vocalists etc. So so many people to thank far too many individually, but you all know who you are. Much appreciation goes out to all that helped from the sponsors to the ground staff to the volunteers marketing etc etc. Lighting sound crew security. Thank you all for making this happen. So very tired now time for a rest then go again. I’d like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to all the staff and committee who served you well over the past few months. They have all gone above and beyond to be there to give you all the best they could. So proud. Thank you all. Lastly the most important thanks goes to you all. Our lovely friends family and guests that attended the festivals this season. Without you all we wouldn’t have them so much appreciated.
